When not in use, store your candles in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and heat. Excessive heat can cause the candles to warp or lose fragrance.
Before each burn, trim the wick to about 1/4 inch (0.6 cm) in length. This prevents excessive soot and helps the candle burn evenly. Long wicks can cause the flame to become too large and may create uneven burning.
